In 2008 Nigel Flynn's homebuilt, a 16 gore 45, VH PUK, was certified. Adam Barrow under one of his own two homebuilts tried out Nigel's airchair. Around the same time, Ronald Kent imported a secondhand Thunder and Colt 42, VH THZ, shown with Nigel's next project, a 16 gore 60, VH PYQ. Certified in 2009, it initially used a plywood basket. Nigel and son, Liam, trialled the new two seat airchair. In 2010 Kel Lewis imported a secondhand Lindstrand 90, VH PRU.
