In 2008 Nigel Flynn's homebuilt, a 16 gore 45, VH PUK, was certified. Adam Barrow under one of his own two homebuilts tried out Nigel's airchair, Nigel and Liam the two-seater. Ronald Kent imported a secondhand Thunder and Colt 42, VH THZ, shown with Nigel's next project, a 16 gore 60, VH PYQ. Certified in 2009, it initially used a plywood basket. In 2010 Paul Kavanagh joined BAV, bringing his D77 VH KCD, Kel Lewis imported a secondhand Lindstrand 90, VH PRU, Francois Steyn bought Ian Chandler's Kavanagh D90, VH NET, and Ronald a Kavanagh 65, VH BYP, Aquamate, as a replacement for his Kavanagh D77.
