Glenda

President

Glenda Dennler is our new President for 2007.  Glenda recently obtained her ballooning pilot licence at the "The Lake 2006" after a long association with Ballooning with her husband Rolf Dennler.  She brings a fresh approach to the role and has some great ideas to ensure the club continues to be a great resource for balloonists.

Vice-President

David Wills continues the role of VP this year. David has been around ballooning for 11 years and is a QANTAS engineer for a real job. He is currently working towards obtaining his ballooning pilots licence.

ABF Representative

Ian Robinson is again the Victorian State representative to the governing body of ballooning in Australia, the Australian Ballooning Federation (ABF). Ian has been ballooning for 20 years and has been addicted to the sport since his first flight. Ian is a self confessed rules nerd and loves to spend his time when not ballooning surfing the web for new rules and regulations on the CASA web site. He has about every endorsment you can get in hot air ballooning.

Secretary

Audrey Leak is BAV's dedicated secretary. Audrey is a long time member of the BAV club 

BAViator Editor and Web Nerd

Adam Barrow is a former President of the ABF and spent 5 years on the National Executive. He has been ballooning for 25 years and has been a pilot for the last 14 years. He is a also a member of the International Jury for competition ballooning events.Adam is a Project Manager by day and as is also the administrator for this website.

Treasurer

Ian Brownlie Has remained in the role of Treasurer this year. Ian has decided that having your hands on the money side of things is a much more liberating role than any other on the executive.

Safety and Technical Officer

Peter Dutneall steps down form the President role this year to take up the Safety and Technical Officer role.    Peter is a long time balloonist and has almost owned more balloons than anyone else in Victoria. Peter is a great asset to the team. When not ballooning he runs his own business out of Warragul.
