Cave Hill Creek (CHC) is an outdoor education accomodation centre in the Pyrenees Shire, 45kms westof Ballarat in Western Victoria. CHC is run by balloonists Ian and Julie Chandler and they have made their spectacular property available to balloonists for several years. The flying is spectacular with the great combination of tall mountains, rolling hills and some very flat plains. This years event was weathered out with pouring rain and gale force winds. Although Angus and Scobie peart did manage to inflate their model in a lull down by the lake.
This is one of BAV's favourite events and is eagerly awaited every year.
